Purpose of Job
This position is a regular benefit-eligible, full-time, non-exempt position with standard office hours at 40 hours a week and is eligible for overtime. There are occasional special events and Bible studies for Women’s Ministry that are scheduled outside regular office hours, which may require the coordinator to attend and/or help administratively support.
Purpose of Role
As part of Women’s Ministry, provide both administrative support and publicity coordination.
Alignment with Mission and Vision
This job helps to fulfill the mission and vision of PCPC by providing administrative support and publicity coordination to the Senior Director of Women’s Ministry and to the Coordinator & Discipler for Women’s Ministry, as well as the women who serve in this area of ministry. This role seeks to encourage women to connect, abide, and extend the Kingdom of God by facilitating the discipleship of women in PCPC and assisting them in using their gifts to make Christ known and build up the Body of Christ.
Individual Job Responsibilities
Abide in Christ and Actively Nurture Personal Spiritual Maturity
- Abide in Christ by staying in His Word, attending weekly Sunday morning worship, engaging in daily Bible study and prayer, and actively participate in the PCPC community.
- Develop relationships with Bible study teachers, class administrators, volunteers, and participants in classes and events.
Administrative Support
- Lend administrative support to each event, program, and Bible study.
- Lend administrative support to the Senior Director of Women’s Ministry.
- Work with the Facilities Department and the Communications Department to coordinate with our church master calendar, space needs, food needs, and A/V needs.
- Give support to women as they use church resources.
- Provide materials needed at events and studies.
- Lend financial assistance; receive payments and pay invoices.
- Maintain the Ministry Platform Database and keep it up to date.
- Maintain supplies for Women’s Ministry.
Publicity Coordination
- Facilitate communication with women in the church regarding events, programs, and Bible studies.
- Develop publicity tools and a timeline to promote events, programs, and Bible Studies
- Coordinate Social Media for Women’s Ministry.
- Assist the Coordinator & Discipler of Women’s Ministry in the gathering of necessary information to create mass mailings to publicize the events, programs, and Bible studies each semester.
- Create a newsletter and send it to women monthly.
- Create cards and fliers as needed to advertise ministry opportunities.
Education and Experienced Preferred
College degree preferred. Five years of experience in administration/coordination including event coordination, development of publicity plans, and a social media presence. Must have proficient computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Creative eye necessary with experience in design layout. Understanding and experience of social media channels including Instagram and Facebook is needed. Experience with Ministry Platform database preferred. (PCPC trains new employees to use Ministry Platform.) PCPC membership is required.

Must possess a heart for Women’s Ministry and a passion for the Word of God. Able to meet with women, greet them warmly and with the love of Christ, and serve them by meeting their administrative needs.
